I guess you could call this scratching a creative itch.

I didn't have a grand concept for this video, just a strange desire to see the two sources together. I made it for the AWA 9 Pro contest, where it was nominated for Best Upbeat.

It felt like cheating at the end, when I took extended scenes from the show and edited them down to match the beat, but since the lyrics are so repetitive, I think it would have turned out worse if I had tried to match them all. I wanted to show off cool parts from the show, at any rate.

You'll notice that Belldandy doesn't appear much in the video, except for the first batch of scenes. That's because she doesn't appear very often in the show. My understanding is that the voice actress (Inoue Kikuko) had other obligations while this show was being made.

I like Chibi-Ah! My Goddess, so I hope this is a half-decent promo for the show.
